I must agree with you that Noise Canceling Headphones are a miracle maker. I dont think I've ever had such an enjoyable flight before i bought these headphones. They truly do block out about 90% of background noise. As you say Noise Canceling Headphones are brilliant for the plane, because they block out all the annoying sounds such as the engine roaring, yet you can still hear the stewardesses announcements.I do have to say though, that i dont use Bose, i use a different pair of Noise Canceling Headphones which i am extremely happy with. This is where i got mine from Noise Canceling Headphones

Hey, thanks for the great overview! Totally agree with you man! I’m a great fan of Bose headphones too and own a Quiet Comfort 2 personally. Trust me, it’s an awesome headphone! Whenever I use it on my overseas trips, I’m literally secluded from the rest of the people and the irritating engines noise! Yes, their noise cancelling technology is that good. It’s also very comfortable on the ears.

The only bane? The price. But the comfort definitely made it worth every penny. Absolutely!

Cheers,
Ellen
