I dont think I've ever had such an enjoyable flight before i bought these headphones. They truly do block out about 90% of background noise. As you say Noise Canceling Headphones are brilliant for the plane, because they block out all the annoying sounds such as the engine roaring, yet you can still hear the stewardesses announcements.I do have to say though, that i dont use Bose, i use a different pair of Noise Canceling Headphones which i am extremely happy with. Whenever I use it on my overseas trips, I’m literally secluded from the rest of the people and the irritating engines noise! Yes, their noise cancelling technology is that good.
