Michelle,
Got my wad o' coupons and then systematically gave them away to students as little thank you's or rewards. I personally never ate one of the free sandwiches, but the report is that they did. :)

So Chick-fil-A is at it again. They are giving away free spicy chicken sandwiches this week, however you must have an appointment time and a a personalize coupon.

I signed up for mine on May 21st for a June 1st time slot of course they sent the confirmation email with a link to my coupon. The coupon however doesn't show up when you click the link. I've tried both mozilla and IE to no avail. I've also checked out the coupon page's html coding and do see there should be something there but am not having any luck forcing the push on the page.

Ah well, no surprises here.

Did you ever get your free sandwiches?

i actually work at a chick-fil-a and we didnt run into this sort of problem, our management would have never sold you chicken sandwhiches but said we were out of the free ones. i agree that is very ridiculous, we gave plenty of free chicken out thast day and im sure if we ran out of the sandwhiches we would have given away other products. i totally agree that it was a stupid part on the managers there.

At least they were a "Participating Location" Krispy Kreme had a free doughnut promotion on voting day so I rolled over to get me a doughnut with a couple co-workers and we ask for the free doughnut the girl working rolled her eyes and said "Our location isn't participating in the promotion." She proceded to save future business by still giving us free doughnuts though.

I just wonder how you're supposed to know if the place is a participating location if you don't really go to the place just before the promotion? The promotion is supposed to get new people to the location not just keep returning customers coming they obviously are already hooked.

I agree, that was bad form on Chick Fil-A's part. I mean, "we've run out of free sandwiches but you can have a paid one?" C'mon!

Reading this story made me cringe! Back in high school when I suffered through a couple of less-than-glamorous food jobs, I was the girl at the register taking everyone's wrath whenever whoever it was at the top of the chain made a really stupid decision. I'm glad you realized it was the management who had the problem, not the poor kid in the Chick-fil-A hat and apron. So, though my heart definitely goes out to you and your free-sandwich-less crew, I also feel bad for the poor people who had to work at Chic-fil-A that day. What a nightmare.

I too got there at around noon in full BYU apparel, but my scene was different. i enjoyed a mob of 100 people crowded around the registers while the employees are behind the counter with megaphones calling out orders. There as plenty of food there when we were there but the mob scene in the food court made it a good 20 minute wait, i can only imagine what happened as the lunch hour progressed...good luck though they run this or similar promotions about every month if i remember, and they are closed on sundays nation wide and give out free coupons if you happen to show up on a sunday looking for a chicken sandwich, they're not all that bad...
